Solange Knowles for the kids!
The celebrated recording star, actress and mother will make a special appearance on Nickelodeon's hit preschool music series 'Yo Gabba Gabba' on May 7 at 1:30 p.m.
According to a network spokesperson, the new episode will premiere during Nickelodeon's special Mother's Day-themed marathon of preschool favorites. In the episode, titled 'Baby,' Knowles performs an original song called 'Momma Loves Baby,' DJ Lance Rock shows videos of the Gabba friends as babies and the gang spends time with their families.
Knowles, the younger sister of international superstar Beyonce Knowles, made headlines recently when she became the spokesperson of UK-based mega-cosmetics brand Rimmel London. A fashion blog mainstay, she has recorded two critically acclaimed music projects and is making a name for herself by deejaying exclusive parties.
Her son, Daniel Julez Smith, Jr., is 5 years old.
