Legendary black radio veteran Tom Joyner is gearing up for the 11th Annual Fantastic Voyage cruise, setting sail from Miami May 16th – May 23rd with a jam-packed line-up of musical acts, comedians, seminars, black art auction and fun-filled Caribbean
excursions.

Known as the "Ultimate Party with a Purpose," the seven day, six night cruise (aboard the Royal Caribbean International's 'Voyager of the Seas) endeavor to offer more than 3000 guests the party of a lifetime.

Some of the entertainers will include Ledisi, Charlie Wilson, Doug E. Fresh, Joe, Chuck "Go Go" Brown, Dazz Band, Sugarfoot's Ohio Players, Con Funk Shun and The Barkays.

But it doesn't stop at concert performances; Joyner & Co. is setting out to make sure there is something for everyone.
For the third consecutive year, CNN's Soledad O'Brien will host a 'Black in America' Panel, and for the second year, Joyner will host a seminar with presidents of several of the nation's black colleges.

Roland Martin of the Tom Joyner Morning Show, TV One and CNN will conduct a one-on-one intimate interview with Minister Louis Farrakhan.

Best selling novelist Terry McMillan of 'Waiting to Exhale' fame, will read from her latest, "Getting to Happy", as part of Sybil's Book Club, and reality TV diva Omarosa will participate in several activities.

Hip Hop superstar Common is confirmed to rock the boat with a special performance and screen his new movie, 'Just Wright,' where he co-stars with Queen Latifah.

Korto Momolu, a finalist in the hit reality show 'Project Runway,' will show off her latest collection in a pool-side fashion show.

To celebrate a black American cult classic, there will be a 'House Party' 20th anniversary concert, featuring Kid N Play, Full Force, Lisa Lisa, Chubb Rock, Force MD, Montell Jordan, Kangol Kid of UTFO and DJ Wiz.

"There's no party with a purpose like this anywhere," said Joyner, whose radio show airs in over 100 markets reaching an audience of more than 8 million. "You've got to experience this because you'll never be a part of anything like this. I've got some of the best known acts who are helping my favorite passion – black colleges – and we'll be rocking the boat 24/7."

Since 1998, the Tom Joyner Foundation has raised more than $55 million helping more than 14,000 students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The Foundation's sole mission is to help keep students in school so they can complete their education.

Departing from Miami, the 2010 Fantastic Voyage will sail to St. Maarten, St. Thomas, VI and Coco Cay, Bahamas.
"The cruise is always right after Mother's day so I treat [my mom] Momarosa to the seven day get away," Omarosa told Black Voices today. "It's always so much fun and so many people from all over the US. Each year we meet mom and daughters from a different state and we always stay in touch ... No matter what your taste is - the cruise has something for everyone."

Sponsors for this year's cruise include Ford, M&M Mars, and The Home Depot, who are sponsoring concert venues, offering seminars and product giveaways throughout the week.

Ford, in particular, is going the extra mile and offering two lucky winners an opportunity to join the fun. Log on here for a chance to go on the 2010 Fantastic Voyage.
