It looks like we'll be adding Eric and DeShawn Snow to the long list of celebrities calling it quits.
According to Access Atlanta, the former NBA player filed for divorce on Wednesday. He and his soon-to-be ex, who appeared on 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta,' would've celebrated their 13-year anniversary in July.
According to Access Atlanta, the former NBA player filed for divorce on Wednesday. He and his soon-to-be ex, who appeared on 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta,' would've celebrated their 13-year anniversary in July.
The college sweethearts -- who had been together since their freshman year -- are separated with "no hope of reconciliation," according to court papers. The two celebrated their 10th anniversary three years ago by renewing their vows in a lavish ceremony in Atlanta.
Snow, who played for the Seattle SuperSonics, the Philadelphia 76ers and most recently the Cleveland Cavaliers before retiring due to a knee injury, is requesting joint custody of the couple's three sons, Eric Jr., Darius and Jarren.
You may remember DeShawn from her brief stint on Bravo's 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta.' After the first season, she was asked to leave by producers because, as she put it, she was "too human for a circus show." She was replaced by former Xscape member Kandi Burruss.
DeShawn, a self-described businesswoman and philanthropist, still resides in Atlanta.

Read between the lines. He recently retired which means now he must become a full time husband and she a full time wife. No more life on the road for him and no more space for her. Now the two must join as one. Their marriage was mainly spent with time between being apart one from another. This would be an opportunity for them to 'cleave together' like God the Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit is one. I pray they decrease and let Jesus increase to save the marriage.

im laughing at all you bitter females online talking about how someone else should spend their money. stop hating!! whatever they had is between them.
i know for a fact you lazy internet losers would spend your usbands money just the same if you had millions at your disposal. and giving to the church is "wasting money?"
the sad part is, i see a couple of socalled men scrutinizing these people like a bunch of sissy's.
these people have been together for 13 years. BEFORE he went to the nba. and youre speking on how she spent his money a little too freely? news flash. they were married! it was no longer "his" money.
you losers should get a life.

He filed for divorce so that says alot. He was probably tired of her spending ways. If anyone saw the first series of the ATL housewives she's quoted as saying she likes the life style of an NBA wife. One episode she actually wrote a check for 15,000 and put it in the church collection plate. She wasted money on a "charity" gala she had at their home for her self named foundation. All this woman did was spend spend spend. Poor Eric just looked bewildered. I felt sorry for the guy. Maybe now he will find real happiness.

I remember her on the first season of RHOA. She might have indeed been the "normal" one of the bunch on the show, but I agree...she loved spending her husband's money a little TOO much. I recall when she had that formal affair at her mansion where she invited ATL's elite and they were having the auction and selling expensive jewelry...and NO ONE participated in the auction nor did they buy any jewelry...she was crying at the end of the show because no money was raised for the benefit. Maybe all her guests could tell that she was simply trying to show out and send the message that "Yeah, I have a lot of money to spend, even if it's not mine."

I totally agree and think this may be the reason he filed for divorce. Good Luck to the both of them.

Well I had to reply to your comment about mrs snow, yeah she spent money but it wasnt a complete waste it was for charity and the 15,000 she put in church is called tites your view is totally based off of a show but behind closed doors we dont know wat the probelm really is only god knows that and we as people need to stop judging other people and mind our own business cause im sure you have probelms and other affairs to worry about besides the lives of someone personal business cause i have probelms of my own and thats why statements like you said are called gossip and the lord dont like gossip, and this is not meant to be rude or anything but just truth.
