With 'Sex and the City 2' set to open on May 27, selected songs from the soundtrack have already leaked on the web, including Liza Minnelli's cover of Beyonce's 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).'
The Oscar, Tony, and Emmy Award winner is one of the few celebrities who make a cameo in the heavily anticipated sequel to the 2008 Blockbuster film.
The fun, the fashion, the friendship: 'Sex and the City 2' brings it all back and more as Carrie (played by Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha (played by Kim Cattrall), Charlotte (played by Kristin Davis) and Miranda (played by Cynthia Nixon) take another bite out of The Big Apple -- and beyond -- carrying on with their busy lives and loves in a sequel that truly sparkles.
'The Sex and the City 2 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack,' which also features songs from Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keyes, Leona Lewis, will be released by WaterTower Music both digitally and on CD on May 25.

LOL. I'm not a Beyonce fan, but I'm sorry, Liza's version is a hot mess...her voice doesn't even fit the song. Liza, stick to singing to Broadway tunes because your version of this song is making my ears bleed.

It's plain and simple, whether you like or do not like Beyonce they should have just had her version of song the for the movie. The bottom line is white America has did this for years to Blacks, take their recent songs and re-sing them for white audience. Its sad for me to write this because I'm really trying to better than "oh she white, she black", but if you look through the years of music you can see where white singers were made to sing popular black songs to get record sales, look at Beach Boys and Chuck Berry. I maybe wrong, but I just wonder why Beyonce version or just Beyonce couldn't do the track herself when it's apparent Liza version sucks.

I know she is OLD but she sounds UH UH OMG! Sex and the City is just trying to help her pay her bills. Look at her legs they look AWFUL! NO don't look at her legs! I hope there isn't a video. I''m glad Beyonce is getting paid for her destroying the song.

This is truly a white woman hoping even in her later years wishing and hoping she was born black! That's all I can see and hear in this video. For her to even mess up this song like she did is just ludecrous. I hope Beyonce made a million just off this woman attempting to sing this song. What a disaster, If I were Lisa I wouldn't even show my face for the next at least two years. But then again I have heard she takes drugs, so maybe this is where she got the idea of attempting this song from. I truly just don't know what to expect next??????? RLOL
