Contrary to previous reports about Lauryn Hill headlining this year's annual Rock the Bells concert, event organizers have quashed fan's hopes of seeing the elusive artist.

According to the tour's Web site, the former Fugees songstress was absent from the long list of performers, which includes, Wu-Tang Clan, KRS-One, Rakim, Slick Rick and the Clipse.

Concert-goers will have the chance to witness this year's theme, which revolves around artists performing their albums in their entirety, including the Wu-Tang Clan's timeless classic 'Enter the 36 Chambers' and Rakim's 'Paid In Full.'
"Rock the Bells fans have the craziest expectations, and the days and nights leading up to our initial announcement are surreal," said founder Chang Weisberg. "Ultimately, our goal is to always present something that is historic."

"This year's show is the epitome of that tradition. Some things new and fresh, some things classic and legendary, and something that you've never seen or may never see and hear again. That's the formula. I am excited for this year's festivals and hope everyone is as hyped up as I am."

Although Hill may not be involved in the four-city tour as of yet, she is confirmed to headline the Harmony Festival on June 13 in Santa Rosa, Calif.

Rock the Bells 2010 is set to hit four cities this summer, including San Bernardino on Aug. 21, San Francisco on Aug. 22, New York on Aug. 28, and Washington D.C. on Aug. 29.

A portion of the proceeds from this year's tour will go to Haiti relief efforts through the Hip-Hop and Hope for Haiti organization.
