Since winning a Daytime Emmy Award as co-host of 'The View,' Sherri Shepherd is one hot property – on theatrical stages.

Already polishing up her acting chops with her regular stint in the award-winning play 'Celebrity Autobiography,' the Chicago native is now wowing audiences in Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's smash hit show 'Love, Loss, and What I Wore,' currently playing at New York City's Westside Theatre.

Directed by Karen Carpenter, 'Love, Loss and What I Wore' is a collection of stories based on the best-selling book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman, as well as on the recollections of the Ephron's friends. Like the popular book, the show uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that women can relate to.

The production is performed by a rotating cast of five all-star actors who perform in four-week cycles.

Shepherd, who is joined by Diane Neal, Penny Fuller, Rachel Harris and Cobie Smulders through the end of June, said she is exciting about making her official off-Broadway debut.

"It feels great to go back to my first love, which is acting," she added. "These are great stories of how the different clothing has affected our lives through the year."
