Laurence Fishburne's Daughter, Montana, Makes Her Adult Film Debut, Hoping for Kim Kardashian Success

As Laurence Fishburne celebrates his 49th birthday today, the famed actor's name is also making headlines within the adult film industry. The Academy Award-nominated actor's daughter, Montana, has announced her debut in the forthcoming adult movie, aptly titled 'Montana Fishburne.'

Judging from the film's description of Montana tapping into her more sensual, erotic side while visiting a mall and a hotel, it's a it's a safe bet that the 19-year-old (who also goes by the name "Chippy-D") won't nail any accolades from the film academy.

Surprisingly, Fishburne's decision to release the hour-plus-long Vivid Entertainment DVD stems from another sex tape star.

"I view making this movie as an important first step in my career," she revealed. "I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became, and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape by Vivid. I'm hoping the same magic will work for me. I'm impatient about getting well known and having more opportunities and this seemed like a great way to get started on it."

The adult film company's founder and co-chairman, Steven Hirsch, added to Fishburne's comment, stating her performance is "scorching."

"Montana made up her mind to make this DVD before we met her," he said. "She grew up in the entertainment business and was well aware of our company. In looking at the careers of many current leading female personalities, she saw a path to success and hopes to follow it."

"When we first met, we were impressed with not just her beauty, but how self-possessed she is," he continued. "Her performance in the movie is scorching, and we think that she will bring that same passion to all of her endeavors – whether in adult or the mainstream."

Preparing for the new career move wasn't difficult for Fishburne's eldest daughter, who credits her "at-home" skills with getting the job done.

"The first time is really nerve racking, like you're on camera but, I have a lot of at-home experience," she said in an interview with CarltonJordan.com. "So I feel really comfortable with the camera. I love the camera; the camera loves me back."

'Montana Fishburne' will be released nationwide and available online Aug. 18.
