'American Idol' winner Fantasia Barrino is not only being considered a husband-stealing home wrecker; she's also allegedly the star of a sex tape.
According to published reports, Paula Cook, of North Carolina, is alleging that the J Records singer engaged in an affair with her husband, Antwaun Cook, and says in court documents that the pair "recorded" their sexual encounters.
The couple separated in June and the estranged wife is seeking child custody, alimony and other monetary support, according to court documents filed Aug. 4 in Mecklenburg County District Court in the Charlotte area.
The documents allege that Cook began the affair with Barrino, 26, in August 2009 after the pair met at a T-Mobile store where he is employed.
After winning the 2004 'American Idol' title, Barrino wrote a memoir, starred in a Lifetime movie based on the book, released two albums and starred in the Broadway production of 'The Color Purple.'
Paula Cook alleges that the singer treated her husband to a lavish lifestyle over the course of their affair, flying him to hot spots such as Atlanta, Miami, New York Los Angeles and Barbados.

And their escapades have been well documented; the pair reportedly "have at times recorded their illicit sexual activity," the documents allege.
Also in the legal documents:
A month after Paula Cook separated from her husband, Barrino is alleged to have interrupted a phone conversation between the estranged couple, telling Cook, "He don't want you. Maybe the next time you get a husband, you'll know how to keep him. That's why he is here with me."
She has appeared publicly with a tattoo on her left shoulder inscribed "Cook," an apparent tribute to the hunky father of two. He is said to have a similar tattoo in the same place on his shoulder.
BlackVoices reached out to Barrino's record label rep – the only legitimate spokesperson for the singer. Her response: "No comment on her personal life. New album, 'Back to Me' out 8/24."
This afternoon, her road manager/fashion stylist Brian Dickens released a statement saying "that she is not responsible for the deterioration of the Cook's marriage."
"Fantasia will weather this storm with the dignity and grace that she has exemplified throughout a life in which she has repeatedly overcome obstacles and challenges. Fantasia's faith in God, herself and family remain as strong as ever."
The new season of her reality show, 'Fantasia For Real,' debuts Sept. 19 at 10 p.m. on VH1.

Listen here lil lady, fantasia is a hoodrat and so is any other rat that thinks it's a good idea to sleep with a married man. First of all I am not perfect and never will be, but you can bet your ass that I don't want a married man. This topic is here for comment and I made mine, as regardin Alicia Keys and Angelina Jolie; I lost respect for both of them after they made the ill choices they made as well, but this topic is not about them it's about fantasia right now so Im sticking to the topic. Do you understand MZ THANG!

You are so RIGHT!!! One thing ALL women need to know.....MEN DO WHATEVER THE HELL THEY WANT TO DO, whether they love you or not. The key is to get yourself together and find your own piece. That's what I did...No way a cheating man will ever hurt me again. The wife really needs to find what's sexy about herself and get out there to let others see. Obviously just because they were married does NOT mean GOD wanted them to be. A MAN loves his woman enough to stay.

I totally agree. Women need to stop blaming the other women. The one to blame is the man and themselves. Dude knows he was married and he chose to cheat. Fantasia didn't go to his home and pull him out of his marriage. People get real. Dude doesn't have any money, so she is going after Fantasia looking for a payday. If he was cheating with one of those ghetto tricks she wouldn't be getting a dime; she'd be divorcing him and moving on. TRICK (Mrs. Cook) move on you greedy tramp.
Fantasia that was really stupid to put a man's name on your body. He was and probably still looking for a payday himself. I mean why else would he tape the sexual encounters. The only way the wife found that out is if he told her. And Fantasia you need to be smarter than that. If she (Fantasia) knew that she was being recorded she should have kept those to herself. Fantasia wake up and leave those no account leeches alone. Take care of you and your child.

No she should not be sued. Antwon was not true to his woman. Either there was something that was not right in the marriage and they did not talk about it or did talk about it and did not seek marriage councling, or the man is a dog and did not keep it in his pants. Oh and by the way, Fantasia needs an attitude adjustment. Paying up is not going to solve her problem.

I guess you never heard of the saying that, "It takes two to tango". Also, there is an Alienation of Affection law in North Carolina. Fantasia had to have known that ol dude was married! That's what we get when we do dirt!

For every dog, there's a dog catcher. Even if he did approach her, she could have said no, simple as that.
She has a daughter, she is a single parent, she knows how it feels to have some man you love walk away....she should have known better.
It takes two to tango, don't put it all on one person.

your right it won't solve the problem but it will be an expensive lesson learned.. she should be held accountable for her actions.. that's the problem.. why does the homewrecker get off scott free after helping ruin a marriage/relationship.. both of them should pay..

Have you ever been married. Something is always wrong in a marriage. Why? Because people are not perfect. Does that give anyone else the right to come into your home because they see an opening? No.People cheat. Everybody pays. If this is not a scam he will pay with the loss of a family. If the wife was neglectful, she has lossed her husband. The wh**** on the side that didnt respect marriage, will pay with her reputation and her money. See everybody pays. Simple.

Amen!!!! Fantasia has always appeared to be a trashy acting woman who happened to have a good voice. In other words, some people live in the ghetto but are not "of" the ghetto. Fantasia appears to be the latter.
