Recently, Montana Fishburne made national headlines when the 18-year-old daughter of Academy Award-nominated actor Laurence Fishburne announced plans to release an adult entertainment film with Vivid Entertainment, titled 'Montana Fishburne.'
Montana previously spoke exclusively to BV Newswire, disclosing that she had yet to speak with her father, but added that while he may be "upset," she hoped he would support her new career in the porn industry and ultimately be proud that she accomplished one of her life goals.
The Westchester-born budding adult film star continued, "Fathers are usually upset when they hear about their daughters losing their virginity. So I don't think he wants to see it blasted across the world."
Montana finally heard from her famous dad and, as to be expected, he wasn't happy.
He added, "You embarrassed me" before declaring his ultimate disapproval with her decision to become a porn star. "You used your last name. No one uses their real name in porn."
Regardless of her father's disapproval, Montana is pushing forth with her racy endeavors.
"This is something I wanted to do; it's a goal that I had. ... I'm proud of my body, and I'm proud of my work and the performance that I gave. So all the people sending out negatives should find a different way to look at it and be happy for me," she said.

Its sad that with all of the opportunities afforded to HER, she chooses to be a porn star. But, you cannot "make" her do what you want, so LET GO and LET GOD!!!

I agree with Mr.Fishbure. Being that he is a successful black business man in today's society and he worked so hard to pave the way for us upcoming black movie stars and directors etc. to be able to enter corporate America wit our God giving talents that we were blessed with and someone will actually give us achance to prove ourselves is an embarrassment to his name. She could have done something better with her life. I am pretty sure she is a smart and intelliegent young lady who knows that her body is precious in God's eyes and should be respected by herself first and not be shown to others (ouside of marriage). She is a beautiful young lady however by her desire to want to do porn is a disgrace not only to God but to her dad (parents) as well. I fully, and deeply agree with her dad and will be praying for her. That is a dangerous thing she is in. I wouldnt even call it a profession.
