'Intimacy' - Album III Is Finally Here!
After five long years of crafting my third album (yes, I still call them albums), Tuesday, Aug. 17, (release day for 'Intimacy Album III') has finally arrived.

I am beyond excited for all of you to hear the new music, and I'm genuinely humbled by the support you've continued to bless me with over the years. For that, I can't thank you enough.
We had a great time on the West Coast leg of the Superfest Tour last week. The tour hit the Bay Area at Oakland's Sleep Train Pavilion on Friday night, and we played the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal Studios in L.A. on Saturday.

I can tell you that those Oakland fans do not play when it comes to their concerts. They turn out in serious numbers and they always bring mad energy to the show, which we love and feed off.
Saturday night's concert in L.A. was everything I expected. We had a packed house that was peppered with celebrities and music and entertainment industry folks. After meeting fans at our post-show photo booth, I had a chance to speak with a few of them backstage, including Cedric the Entertainer, Tavis Smiley and Dr. Cornel West.

Before we head out to the Miami show this week, we're spending a few days in New York for album release parties, media opportunities and private performances.
It's one of the most important weeks of my life, and I'd be remiss if I didn't send a special thank you to my representatives at Motown, my producer, Rex Rideout and my manager, Toya Hankins, for all the support they've given me during the long process of completing the third album. I look forward to telling you about everything next week, and you can find additional info throughout the week at www.facebook.com/KemOfficial.
I hope you'll love 'Intimacy' as much as I do!
Until next week...God bless.

Can't wait to cop this CD. Kem is one fine brotha, talented singer, and musician. I hope I get to see him tour in my city? I seen him 8 years ago and he put on a EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE!Hey, it was worth the wait. That's how you craft a good CD instead of rushing CD after CD back to back. You go KEM!

BV,
Can we get rid of ALL UNWANTED IRRELEVANT COMMENTS on all the BLOGS. I'm mean, really? Again, Unwanted space taken up for people that have RELEVANT COMMENTS to post. Isn't what is said and is below where to add comments: "Please keep your comments relevant to this blog entry"? I'm tired of seeing people advertising dating services, selling merchandise, how to get rich, the whole nine? Please clean up and get rid of? It's not just me there are so many people on here that make relevant comments feel the same way.

I just experienced KEM during the Budweiser Superfest in Baltimore last night. He is a fantastic performer. He is smooth, classy, funny, relevant, and . . .
I am so glad KEM has resurfaced and wish him the best.
