There's no denying 'Steve Harvey Morning Show' co-host Thomas "Nephew Tommy" Miles' love for curvy, full figured women.
The dapper funnyman's deep infatuation and devotion to please plus-sized ladies has turned into his new foray into the fashion industry with his new brand called, Big Luv Denim.
The comedian-actor showcased his "high fashion" line of plus size denim jeans -- to hit stores February 2011 -- during an exclusive fashion show at this year's annual Hoodie Awards in Las Vegas.
BlackVoices.com caught up with Tommy during the event where he talked about his new-found business venture in addition to the future of Big Luv Denim.

That's the same tired ass comeback that BW always have here! White women this, and white women that! Who's even talking about white women in the first place? And, who always brings up white women? Yeah, you got it "BLACK WOMEN"! White women don't bring you up, because they don't care about you! Do you always need to introduce white women into the fray to validate yourself over, and over again? Wow, you sound just like you're on insecure overload! Now, since you apparently don't know, allow me to share a few...just a few mind you "facts" about BW, and their weight problem! Black women are the most overweight for all women in the US today, and for all races as well! It's a serious health issue, not a fashion issue! BW die eariler, because of being overweight, and as a result have greater health issues i.e. high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, and a myriad of heart related issues! The CDC also reports that 80.3% of all black women in the US today are either overweight, or obese! And, black women have the greater prevalence for being obese as well! And as usual you just had to add just that tidbit of foolishness to verify your ignorance! Grow up!

You cannot assume that because you see extra flesh that there are health problems. TRUTHFULLY BROTHER IT IS WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE INSIDE OF THE BODY WHAT IS THE TRUE INDICATOR OF GOOD HEALTH, MOST ASSUME LIKE YOURSELF THAT IF A PERSON APPEARS THIN THEY ARE HEALTHY..... WRONG. Black women die sooner because their species' mates hate on them, instead of loving them. So with your attitude, what difference does it make if we die sooner. Are you scared that the men who abandon them won't have some other woman to leave his children on when he decides to go after the next woman that society tells him is better than his species' mate. Blame our weight for your lack of securing us and creating jobs for your children. African men are out doing you and they have very large women, Mexican men are out doing you and he has large women, Samoans have large women and they are out doing you. You and men like you have lost your balls to compete so you hide behind imitations of men with success. Men who have killed, sacrificed and bonded with their brothers to create nations for their offspring to feel special. Why don't you lay off BW and go and enjoy your other women who are so much better than the BW. We'll be ok here and in the after life where we'll be gathered listening to your lame excuse for abandoning us...

Think it is nice to accommodate plus size women with some proper fitting jeans. Jeans for curvy women are also needed. Most Black Women are curvy as well as plus size.... The fashion industry makes jean to fit stick figures, Hopefully , Tommie will take a look at the curves that real women have and revolutionize the industry. Look for balance in body proportion should be the key, creating jeans trousers etc. Sorry Skinny jeans are not for women who have curves, leave these to stick thin pubes cents.... If Tommie does not follow industry rules he should be successful...., Great Idea!!!!!

Hi,Tommy i must say that im very proud of you.Its nice to know that someone is thinking outside of the nornmal sizes,now im not i large size woman i only wear a size 8 some 9's but everyone wants to look nice no matter what size they are.So keep up the good positive work you do and MAY God bless you in all you do.MUCH LOVE

I ain't mad @ Tommy. this is a much needed product. Face it, there are big women just like there are big men. They need some jeans so they can stop wearing the "you know you shouldn't be wearing that" jeans. now i hope he makes them affordable.

You can be skinny and be unhealthy. Just because you weigh more than 100lbs don't mean that you have one foot in the grave. if you notice, there was one big girl in a tutu working it out. do you know how much energy it takes to do that. I know some skinny people that can't walk up the stairs without losing their breath. before you comment, do some research. it is people like you that makes the healthcare cost go up, because the sterotype that you give these people, make them sick, sick in the mind. because the children call them names, adults call them names etc.... negative people make me sick. but what I can say is that some clothes are not for everybody and you should know what looks good for your body type. some of the models were not fitted properly.
