Last season of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' was all about
Sheree Whitfield.
In addition to watching Whitfield throw a drama-filled independence party, where she infamously cursed out her party planner, fans of the reality show followed the mother of three as she debuted her She by Sheree fashion line.
But what a difference a year makes.
These days, the former NFL wife said she is busy doing all the things she's wanted to do for years and truly pursuing her passions.
"I don't like drama believe it or not. I don't like confrontation, but if you push me, I am from Cleveland; it's gonna go down," she told
BlackVoices.com in a recent interview.
"With the 'Who gon check me, boo' on last season on the first episode, of course, I didn't want that to happen. I was shocked he came at me like that, but I'm not going sit there and let you talk to me crazy."
This season of the top-rated Bravo franchise finds Whitfield exploring her new career in acting. She
made her acting debut in
Kendrick D. Young's stage play 'Heaven I Need A Hug' earlier this year, and now believes she has a shot at winning an Oscar.
"One day," Whitfield pondered. "I'm not saying it's going to be tomorrow -- I'm just taking classes -- but this is something I really wanted to do. This is me coming out of my shell."
As for her thoughts on her cast mates, she's opinionated about newcomers
Phaedra Parks and
Cynthia Bailey.
"I didn't get a chance to shoot a lot with Cynthia because she was just too far up
Nene [Leakes]'s ass. She didn't really get a chance to get to know anybody...like a little puppet," she laughed.

"I did get a chance to shoot with Phaedra after a while. I think she's cool," Whitfield continued.
"I heard that she had said some things about me, so I ran into her at a spa, and I asked her in person. She was very cordial and nice, and I wasn't sure what she or Cynthia were bringing to the show, but when I asked her she said, 'Oh no, I never said anything about you.'"
"Same thing with
Dwight [
Eubanks], saying he put $30,000 into my show. I asked him personally," she furthered.
"I thought, 'This lying-ass muthaf**ka.' I feel like Dwight wants people to think he lives this certain lifestyle and has [money] to just give away, but you're a fool if you are going to put $30,000 into my show and we're not even friends."
Though she temporarily put the kibosh on her She by Sheree clothing line, Whitfield is planning to release a fitness video in the coming months.
"I am still working on a fitness video because I want to inspire and encourage women to get out and get healthy," Whitfield added. "I tore my meniscus, but this is something that I am definitely pursing."
'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.

I really like Sheree now, she's funny without even trying to be. I liked the way she handled Dwight too. Guess he thought by running his mouth around town about what he allegedly spent on her show was going to make her cut him a check just like that.
She doesnt care what people think about her though-and that's what Dwight WASN'T banking on...he thought he'd embarrass her to the point where she'd give him money to shut him up; coming over her house with his flaming friend like that was supposed to intimidate her.

I say she's a follower, she is trying to be the next 'Ne-Ne' that's all that is. "I'm from Cleveland"? What does that mean?
I don't watch the show...only clips here and there, but I did see her on a pole I think in the first season....I think that's her calling right there.

Sheree doesn't seem to know what she wants to do.She's a fashion designer. She's a fitness guru. She's an actor. She was so passionate about her She by Sheree line. What happened? Instead of overpricing your clothes($200-$2,000)you should have made them more affordable for the everyday women and sold them in WALMart or KMart. As for your exercise video, I think that will tank faster than your fashions. And the acting, you might have a better chance at finding a few rows here and there, but an oscar, not a chance.

I think that Sheree is trying to do things that she should have tried to do when she was young. Is'nt she in her late 40's? She has a very nasty personality and seems to believe her own hype (win an oscar)??? Please! Her clothing line was way over-priced and wasn't that nice either but to each his own.
