Beyonce's Mom and Dad: Divorce Case Dismissed

Superstar singer Beyonce and her loved ones may have good news in store for the holidays: The divorce case of her parents, Mathew and Tina Knowles, was dismissed.

According to TMZ, the estranged couple was due to show up in a Harris County, Texas, courtroom on Nov.15, but neither party appeared before the judge.

After 29 years of marriage, the Miss Tina and House of Dereon fashion designer filed for divorce last year, just a few weeks after news broke that Alexsandra Wright had filed a paternity suit and was seeking child support from her music-mogul husband. Mathew Knowles has since been found to be the father of Wright's son, Nixon, and has worked out a settlement.

Considering both parties had attorneys at earlier proceedings, it looks like the Knowles might have reconciled and decided to drop the divorce case.

As previously reported, Beyonce has a big Thanksgiving in store: Her second televised ABC concert special, "I Am...Yours: An Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas," will air on Nov. 25 at 9:30 p.m. EST.
