Steve and Marjorie Harvey to Have Big Turkey Giveaway This Thanksgiving

Syndicated radio personality Steve Harvey has been giving back all year long, but this Thanksgiving he wanted to do something special with his wife, Marjorie.

The 'Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man' author, who just started hosting 'Family Feud,' will kick off "The Steve Harvey Big Turkey Give," which will provide 10,000 turkeys nationwide to needy families and senior citizens for the holiday season through the 'Steve Harvey Morning Show.'

The Harveys will personally hand out 500 turkeys at the Adamsville Recreation Center in Atlanta on Nov. 23.

"It feels great to be giving away turkeys again this year, and to be in Atlanta this year to give turkeys is truly a blessing, to be at home with our loved ones and help those at home and around the country share a great Thanksgiving meal with their loved ones," the couple said.

Last year, they were able to give away 6,000 turkeys nationwide, but they felt the obligation to do a little more this year and decided to distribute the birds in more than 60 radio markets through live on-air giveaways.

AT&T is also on board to contribute an additional 1,000 turkeys to one lucky city during a nationwide giveaway contest where listeners will vote for their city.
