"Let me say this, if you don't do that, she'll find someone that will. And in these days it might be her best friend. If your girl is clean and deserving, why not? The best sex is between two givers... that's off the chain. If you know how to do it properly, you will thoroughly enjoy the fruits of your labor."
-- Grammy Award-nominated singer Raheem DeVaughn opens up on women receiving oral sex. Recently, the Jive Records recording artist became the subject of much fodder for his new sexually charged music video, 'She's Single.' (Vibe)

@nomoxcuses:
You find it amazing that many women would respond positively to Raheem DeVaughn's interview and video?? Well, from past experiences, I have learned that many women can at times be their WORST enemy! Please understand that there are all types of women in the world just like there are all types of men in the world. Some men are just like Raheem DeVaughn and some women are also just like Raheem DeVaughn! "Birds of a feather flock together", and "water seeks its level".

It's amazing to to read the above comments. There is some information out there that suggests HPV transferred through oral sex can contribute to cancer of the brain. Not to mention other transmittable disease that can be transferred into the throat.

MAK -- I was just reading about that a week or so ago on some health news articles and you are 100% right! This reheem just opened his mouth and inserted both feet. If he is doing "his oral sex thing' with woman after woman after women he is setting himself up for cancer of the throat, and yes it can go to your brain as many infections can. These people are in a position to be a role model to young men and women out there and instead they (Remeen & 50Cent) are both trying to make oral sex look "cool" to teenagers who read their drivel and that is WRONG! There is so much HIV/AIDs out there already! Like I said before, they get some coinin their pockets and think they are experts and they are experts: on being BAD rold models for our teenage children. Shame, shame on Remeen! If he wants to do this with a whole lot of women that's his business and his stupidity, but he shouldn't be discussing it openly here where our teenagers can read it and think that this Remeen says it is so , so it must be THE cool thing to do. He has a lot of growing up to do, if he doesn't end up killing himself first from HIV-AIDS or another form of VD.If any teens are reading MY posting and MAK's, then listen to US and not Remeen who is only setting himself up to possibly die young from AIDS or whatever else.

Unbelievable, you just keep right on schooling!
One thing that you will encounter is that when we correct one another we are "haters' or "acting white" and "sellouts". We don't like correction, however correction comes from love. For every 10 ppl who won't listen, the 11th does & that life will be saved. You go after that,11th! God Bless
Thank you:)

I could not concur with you more about many African Americans who take offense to constructive criticism offered out of a sense of caring and love for their own people. Needless to say, we have been taught for generations that we should NOT "hang our dirty laundry" out for all to see but rather "sweep everything under the carpet"...so to speak! Only when this dysfunctional and psychological way of thinking among us abates, we will then be able to rise to the occasion and deal with the myriad of social problems adversely affecting us as a people in this country. We are a MIGHTY people and the sad thing about that is that everyone knows that except us!
Thank you for your words of encouragement, and I shall keep on keeping on! And may God bless you too!!

@Mak:
Thank you for enlightening the readers and commenters on this site about the dangers that confront them by participating indiscriminately in "oral sex" and other sexual behaviors that can adversely affect their health status, if not their complete demise!! Education is the key to avoiding many of the pitfalls in life and paramount to being able to live a fulfilling, satisfactory and enriched life.

OMGoodness!! I don't know what you are doing (of course) but I pray that you truly consider grabbing these young women into a room and teaching them the power that black women have possessd for centuries! We have been convinced that we need to share all of ourselves in order to find true love, happiness and-yes, marriage! I have heard of young ladies having sex in allys and gangways just to keep a young man (who is making his rounds) I come from a male dominated family and have all sons. It seems that they care more about abstaining& protection then women. We have forever been the lion tamers! Men looked to us for strength, guidance &leadership-the black woman is a power house who in recent years have dropped the ball with our daughters (sons) We NEED to kill the complacency! Again, in your journey, May God Continue to Bless you...

This is exactly why I will remain single for the rest of my life. Too many people are engaging in too much with anybody. The last thing I want is some man to come up in my face when minutes ago he was doing something like this with someone else. Yuk! art my ass!

@Marvice:
Please do not deprive yourself of the joy, happiness, love and marriage with a member of the opposite sex simply because SOME men DO NOT meet your standards and qualifications. Always remember that there is someone for everyone out there in this large and wonderful world we live in, however painful and disappointing this world and life can be at times. It is always "darkest just before the dawn". Keep the faith and hope alive as Rev. Jesse Jackson can most aptly say.
