The Thanksgiving holiday season is over, but Beyoncé has much to be thankful for.
The 16-time Grammy Award winner debuted her 'I Am...World Tour' concert film on ABC on Thanksgiving night. The 90-minute prime-time Beyoncé special drew 4.44 million viewers.
The DVD went on sale on Black Friday (exclusively at Wal-mart) and has since been certified double platinum. It now tops the Nielsen Soundscan Music DVD chart.
Beyoncé also recently released a deluxe DVD/soundtrack edition complete with unseen footage, a 40-page collection of never-seen photos and an extensive travelogue.
The 'I Am...World Tour' DVD was also shot in Brazil, where the 29-year-old pop star played to an audience of 60,000 in San Paulo last winter.
As previously reported, Beyoncé edited, produced, directed and starred in her 'I Am...World Tour' DVD for her Parkwood Pictures production company. The concert film follows the 'Single Ladies' singer as she travels across 32 countries on six continents.
A Blu-ray version of the DVD will hit stores on Dec. 7.

What should Beyonce take a "break" from? She obviously enjoys what she's doing and it shows in her performance. I think it's good for an artist such as Beyonce to ride that gravy train for as long as she can. In music nowadays your day in the sun is very short and before you know it an artist is so yesterday and fans are looking for the next big thing.

Yes the princess of pop & RB should take a break,, not retire but just take a break so she does not burn out, which is easy to do at the pace she entertain her fans, the woman has surpass the talent of the great diva "The Boss" Ms.D. Ross & The Great Tina Turner.
