My heart heavy by the passing of Lady T's. I was fortunate to have seen her, and the late Rick James, live in concert at the Sport Arena in San Diego, CA back in the day.
IT WAS WILD! Brotha Rick sannggggg, "Give it to me Baby, Mary Jane, and Super Freak." "Behind the Groove" Lady T sannggggggggg "Portuguese Love" with the utmost "Fire and Desire" as their finale song! "Square Biz" ... her voice was strong, soulful, and operatic!
May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard the hearts and minds of her family, true friends, and millions of fans during this time of need.

She was a true contributor to freedom for music, that is for sure. Also a darn good singer too. This is just a shame. Http://www.savecreatively.com

I just heard about Teena this morning and I'm still stunned by the news. It's hard to find words to express the feelings. I have this picture of Teena joining Gerald, Michael, Marvin and all the great ones in song. Her work here is done and I know she is in good hands. RIP
