Fans of the daytime soap opera 'All My Children' will finally know why seasoned actress Debbi Morgan, who plays Dr. Angie Hubbard, has been missing in action from the show for the past few weeks.In December of last year, a production spokesperson announced Morgan's leave of absence to resolve a personal matter.
Now we know what's the cause of her departure: lyme disease.

In a recent appearance on the 'Tom Joyner Morning Show,' the Emmy award-winning actress discussed her diagnosis, stating, "It's nothing fatal. Lyme disease is an infection caused by the borrelia bacteria from a tick. It's a chronic condition, and I've had it in my system for over 15 years."
Lyme disease is in fact a manageable condition, and if caught early, can be cured. If treated in the latter stages, there may be complications of the heart, nervous system and joints.
The good news is that not only is the 'Eve's Bayou' actress in good spirits, but that she will be returning to her beloved role on the popular soap opera within the next couple of months.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Debbi Morgan, unfortunately I don't watch soap operas, but if I did, it WOULD be that one.
You're right, she doesn't age! She is and has always been GORGEOUS!

Wow she stil looks good. I don't watch All My Children anymore but back in the late 70's early 80's that was my show. It's so amazing how Debie Morgan still looks as she did back in the 70's. She hasn't aged one bit. God Bless her and keep her safe and well..

First of all it's not our business she told everyone it was a personal matter and we should leave it at that , but when someone of her statue is quiet about something people have to investigate until it comes clear so to you DEBBIE MORGAN we all will say a prayer for you and wait for your return GOD BLESS
