Kerry Washington and Columbus Short are set to star in 'Grey's Anatomy's creator Shonda Rhimes' new pilot for ABC, 'In Crisis.'

The pilot will based on the career of famous crisis management consultant Judy Smith. It revolves around the life and work of professional fixer Olivia Price (played by Washington) and her dysfunctional staff. Olivia Price is described as something of a legend, a formidable, driven, insightful, intuitive and fearless woman. Short will play a lawyer on her team, stated Deadline.com.

This will be Washington's first full time gig on television as the Bronx, NY native, known for her film roles in 'Ray,' 'The King of Scotland,' and most recently, 'For Colored Girls,' had done some recurring work on 'Boston Legal' and '100 Centre Street.'

Short, who appeared in 'Stomp the Yard,' 'Cadillac Records,' and 'Death at a Funeral,' had a recurring role on NBC's Aaron Sorkin drama 'Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.'

Along with 'Grey's Anatomy,' Rhimes is also the executive producer of its spin-off 'Private Practice,' Rhimes recently started working on another medical drama series, 'Off the Map,' which premiered last month.
