OMG, we can't stand it!! Actually, we can, but The Huff Post/AP makes it sound so cloak and dagger that we want to believe it's going to blow us away:
CHICAGO - Oprah Winfrey has given the world 25 years of poets and politicians, A-list actors and musicians and talk show topics that defined and reflected American culture.
As "The Oprah Winfrey Show" ends, with 16 episodes left as of May 4, her millions of fans around the globe are waiting to see how she will close out a show that engineered a media empire.
Winfrey's producers plan a star-studded, double taping on May 17 at Chicago's United Center. The shows will air May 23 and 24, as Winfrey's second and third-to-last episodes.
The show is dubbed "Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular." Winfrey hates surprises, producers say, but she has agreed to this event.
But for fans, questions remain.
Who will be at the United Center that Tuesday night? Who will be beamed in by satellite or deliver a taped farewell message?
Winfrey has a stable of celebrity friends who have appeared repeatedly on her talk show. John Travolta. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Jennifer Aniston. Chris Rock.
Could the Black Eyed Peas perform, as they did when Winfrey shut down Chicago's Michigan Avenue in 2009?
Then there are the presidents and world leaders: Bill Clinton; George W. Bush; Nelson Mandela. President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama have already appeared on a special show that aired Monday.

How will Oprah close out her show? I don't think there is anyone left, outside of blacks, who cares. The show is ending because of plummeting ratings. Good riddance and I hope I don't have to view this disgusting egotist again.

@Tom
In case you haven't noticed the majority of her audience is caucasian and it's obvious that you watch her show since you know so much about it. Listen, don't hate because you didn't or couldn't be as successful as she is. Take the blessings that you have and don't compare them Lady O's. She worked for everything that she has.

WOW I just watched the show with Iyanla and I must saw wow again because what bothered me is how an educated woman who gives "spiritual" advice to others expects me to believe she was so dumb in her personal life? Was she a fraud? This is why I don't follow motivational speakers and make them richer!!! They prey on people with low self esteem. Most people know how to improve their lives. They just want someone to listen. Now I see why my mother (a nurse) said "Black people need to learn to go to therapy instead of gossiping family members!"
I do think OWN needs more color but I honestly can't say if Oprah should give Iyanla another chance. She seemed very broke down on Oprah!!! Oprah needs to remember one thing. Just like she worships Barbara Walters (who tried to undercut her) don't hold it against Iyanla because she worshipped Barbara as well. My girlfriends and I said Iyanla and Oprah were too egos clashing back them and we were proven correct!!! Oh I never thought Oprah held a grudge against Iyanla. Why should she? Who went on to become a billionaire?
Good Luck with OWN Lady O. Behind the Scenes is my favorite show and any road trip you and Gayle takes! Too funny.

Oprah!---I believe, You are a sister to every one
in this world. I have watched you for the last 20
Years and you are wonderful. You know what Oprah;
God gives a chance to every human being by opening
the Eyes, opening the Heart and opening the Mind. If one fail with eviel thoughts or deeds, everything will be clossed up in life. To get it back one has to pray years and years; and no one
would do that; the only one I saw is YOU who has
used correctly the gift of God. You get everything
and you did everything what God likes is just because when God opens your Eyes, your Heart and
Brain, you used them the way it should be and I wish you all the best. We have seen enough in this
World, when people gets more money, they become more greedy; that won't be good for the person and
the family. Again, God bless you.
I promise, I will keep up watching OWN.

It's a shame I never made it to her show, not even favorite things or able to purchase an item. No funds, and poor graduate student coming next week. The one time I was in Chicago, I could not get a ticket. I will miss the show, sometimes I will watch Oxgen or Own show on cable. I wish I was chosen by ABC-WJLA to see the last show, and favorite things for next week. Dream Defered.
I wish her well in all she does, we need a successful woman doing good things for the next generation and the old baby boomers to see.
God Bless and keep the school in Africa raising up a new educated women.

Yes Angela Bassett confirmed all the original cast is returning for Exhale2 (I know I know Getting to Happy)!!! I wondered what happened to Terry and Oprah working on her previous book. Terry didn't burn that bridge (releasing public statement)but my daughter predicted creative differences would clash with Lady O and Terry! Well I hope this movie comes out Mother's Day next year because Waiting to Exhale is my fave movie soundtrack. Can they get Ne Yo (or Rapheal Sadiq, great job on Love That Girl on TV one) to produce the soundtrack (add men this time around...MAXWELL)? Ne Yo is the new BabyFace!

It will be interesting to see what the last show brings. Yesterday's show (Thursday) was great; especially the guy that they surprised with an appearance on ESPN's Sports Center. He did great!! I'm so glad that Oprah has decided to get out while the going is still good. She's had a great 25 years!!
