Clifton, be for real. Spike has done MORE GOOD for the industry as far
as African Americans are concerned. There are grips, gaffers, make up
artist, caterers, wardrobe designers, actors, directors, producers
etc, in the UNION and in the business because of Spike. Just because he chose not to cast you, don't get your panties in a little bunch. He has a right just like you do to say how he feels about Tyler
just as much as Tyler has a right to say and do as he pleases. So I
say to you...please, please, please, sit YO' Punk Ass down and go do a

Spike Lee is too old for all of this he wants to be on top. Spike Lee had his time in the spot-light so now let Tyler Perry have his. Where is all the banding together as one, try helping each other out. Why does Spike Lee have to down another black man. If you disagree with what Tyler is doing why not give him a few suggestions, why can't you be a real man about it Spike Lee instead of looking like The Cat in The Hat in that picture.

This whole thing is TYPICAL. Many other cultures GROOM their SUCCESSORS while we try to EAT ours so that we can STAY ON TOP even when our TIME HAS PASSED. I've seen this in some churches where the same old people try to RUN THINGS forever and the place just becomes OUTDATED. Another reason why we can't GET AHEAD. Spike WAKE UP!!!!!!!

The reason he is so mad at Spike it's not just that he's hating on Tyler but, this is a man that strives on uplifting our people by making his films for our people. But just like the majority of N***AS that have not got the glory they so called deserve they lash out at others who have. I grew up on Spikes movies and they were very helpful into knowing where I wanted to lead my life. He had his time now it's time for Tyler Perry to shine and for some reason he can't deal with it. This is the real reason why we get know respect from other nationalities, Mexicans, Chinese, Etc. None of the other cultures hate on each other like we do it's foul ill timed and idiotic. Spike made a film called Bamboozled where Savioughn was acting like a buffoon now to me who is the real buffoon here certainly not Tyler. Man this is why I keep saying the white man has defeated us as a whole people. When we go from having to stick together to get things done and loving one another to just completely hating on each other like he wants than he one he did what he set out to do make us hate ourselves.

Spike is a hater, and should stay in his lane.
Those of us people of color and others who don't care for Spike--don't knock him. Spike's movies are something I would not personally pay to see--but to each his own. I've lost a great deal of respect who would stoop so low, and allow personal envy to compel him do what the chiefs did back in the motherland. SPIKE: grow some respect.

I am tired of having to read about our tearing each other down. the issue as I see it revolves around money and what it does to those who are in a position to be heard by the community at large. Spike has done some very good things for us but as the saying goes;what have you done for me lately"?

Tyler has done more in his 12 years for black people than Spike has and you and I know how long Spike been around. Only thing I see Spike Lee supporting is the sorry ass Knicks So ..... again.... Well my 2 cents: Spike, is nothing but a hater... He hates Tyler, because he has his own studio and company and is not catering to the hollywood crowd...Tyler, hasn't been doing it as long as Spike, but he has gone from homeless to almost billionaire and the Spike dog can't stand it...Spike, has to answer to the white man and Tyler, well he has to answer to Tyler...STFU Spike.
