Known for stirring up some of the world's most delicious cuisines, award-winning chef and author Marcus Samuelsson is on a mission to promote healthy living for America's next generation of leaders.
The native of Ethiopia recently opened his eclectic new restaurant Red Rooster Harlem to a group of 15 middle school students from Harlem's Global Tech Prep for a special class on maintaining a balanced diet.
In conjunction with Citizen Schools and AOL, students had the rare opportunity to ask Samuelsson various questions about his rise to stardom, managing multiple restaurants and his childhood influences.
We were on location to catch all of the action. Check out the exclusive video package below featuring Marcus Samuelsson and the students of Global Tech Prep.

I was elated to see that this young man with so much to offer is giving back to young people in Harlem. I would like to see more businesses and entertainers who have become millioners from African American investors and fans do what Mr. Sameulsson is doing, many of them need to give back, after all our children are our future.
