From Popeater:
Have a listen to the teaser clip of Willow Smith's next single, 'Rock Star,' and it's clear the 10-year-old 'Whip My Hair' singer is determined not to be a one-hit wonder.
Following up on '21st Century Girl,' a snippet of 'Rock Star' has now been released, teasing its official upcoming release. The confident track underscores a behind-the-scenes video (watch below) of the rising star cavorting backstage at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards.

Oh my god, this song and her voice are HORRIBLE!
But I guess other blacks will find it great.

It's sad because whether it's Tom/Greg/Bill/Bruce or any of the other names that's used, trash by any name is still trash. Inferior trash at its best. SAD!

@Gail-Sadly that's the problem. Rich parents who could buy their untalented kids careers. Terry McMillan had it correctly. These kids aren't intelligent prodigies but once again black media is there to hype them up like they discovered a cure for cancer. Why can't these rich kids go to college and contribute to our communities????? We don't need more pop stars!
I'm trying to be nice because Will and Jada support education (a school here in B more) but I won't pretend their kids are super talented. I don't want them to turn out like the other child star idiots in Hollywood so I'm praying. Will's oldest son is out of the spotlight being a normal teen and that's is GREAT! I hope he goes to college!

Sorry Gail but I am in TL's corner over your comment as well. I find these kids to be arrogant. If the girl can't carry a tune why convince her that she can?? With the exception of the oldest Smith child I actually feel the entire family to be arrogant. While the Smiths may appear to do a lot for the community it would benefit them to deflate their egos. Listening to Jada talk about "how big she and Will are" on their last Oprah appearance was nauseating. Her current success has come for her husband's ability to financially back her acting/singing (lol) career. If she had acquired an extensive career to boast about BW (before Will) I'd give her props. But her "true fame" has come from becoming Mrs. Smith and birthing 2 kids whose egos are as large as hers and their father's. I'd like to see the Smiths become humble, regular kids with folks who will stop cramming details about their sex lives in face of society. If these kids are truly talented the world will see it without their parents standing on pedestals screaming "look at our superstar kids - we're remaking movies so they don't have to audition for parts like real actors and actresses!" I feel if the heads in this family get any bigger they could be their own float in a Macy's Day Parade...tsk tsk....

Time is moving fast--got to keep up or even set the pace. How many people can be their dream. Instead of having to wait until they are grown up and hoping their efforts paid off and dues paid so that their dreams come true and are not deferred. I am proud of Will, he knows the business and can guide his daughter. I am so happy for them. Seems to be what she wants and she's not doing it for wealth nor parents. Those children will have worked and achieved their wealth young.
