GOP Lieutenant Gov Criticizes Party's Nominee To Replace Him

English actor Idris Elba, still best known as Stringer Bell from David Simon's epic HBO series, "The Wire," tweeted this weekend, "Having one of the biggest meetings of my professional life today...meeting a very controversial director for a very controversial part." And the Internet pretty much lit up with speculation.
"I wish I could tell you more but...in due time," he added."On the plane to the destination of my fate.....ok.... a lil dramatic....destination of my life..?"
Almost immediately, tweeps and pundits started asking: what kind of potentially major role makes Idris Elba so melodramatic? Could it be the lead role in Quentin Tarantino's slavery epic, "Django Unchained"? After all, "Django Unchained" is a controversial powder keg of racial politics and what other African American roles have made this much of a stir of late? Our IndieWIRE brethren at Shadow & Act were the first to ask and pose this question and we'll be honest, the thought crossed our minds immediately as well.

I love Idris Elba. He is a talented handsome Actor. I just love his English accent. I just hope whatever role his next upcoming film is not too controversial?

I don't care what movie this fine azz man is starring in - my plan is to be front and center at the theater...Idris is one of the finest brothers on the big screen these days yeah babyyyyyyy!!!!!

Look, in the movie "Obsessed", I think I would have played a better part in being his wife instead of Beyonce. The reason why, I wouldn't have put him out in the cold for 3 months because of allegations of him cheating with that Psycho woman? I would have been a very understanding wife and it would have only taking one day to work things out because we have RESPECT, TRUST, & UNDERSTANDING in our marriage. We are SOLID as a ROCK and no one can tear us apart, how about that. I'm just saying and being funny. :-)

Ladies, get your face off this brother, there are many like him out there. Dam, he is just a man, and he probably wouldn't commit, but you are only asking for a one nighter, I feel you; but find an Idris is another brother, you will never get that opportunity to be with Him.
