Well, I don't know Gail. Chappelle has been known to use the N-word on his past shows and Oprah, like myself and many Black folk don't like it.
He would probably be the last who would be on OWN. Even Chris Rock would be excluded unless he go the way of Richard Pryor and stop using it.

My oldest daughter told me a story I thought explains why Dave said on Oprah he knew he went to far for humor. She told me that while sitting in a Juillaird acting class a WHITE male student told a N@ joke from a Dave Chappelle skit. She said everyone loved Dave's show but to see the faces of the black students when this boy told this joke was amazing and sad. She said she couldn't get mad at him because Dave doing these skits gave white kids license to tell what they thought were harmless jokes. Dave basically admitted on Oprah he knew he made zillions off black people being the joke!
Dave is VERY creative and funny but sadly some jokes belong in BLACK HOUSEHOLDS and others on TV. I think Dave learned the difference the hard way......my fave skit is Prince (My Baby Buckeye, youngest daughter, luvs Purple and named her car Prince, hahaha)!!!! Comeback Dave so she can stop wearing me out with her Kevin Hart videos (I think he was in Buckeye Country and she saw him) hahahaha

Ok folks, I know he uses the N word, but most comedians use the N word. Wrong or right, they use it. Whether we like it or not, they use it. All I was saying is "Dave come back"...nothing more....just come back because he's a very talented brother.

I'm glad Dave is returning to TV. I hope that he took some time to figure all his problems out that he was having. With the money that this brother made and is worth, he could have had his own network. I thought his skits were funny. I still watch the re-runs. Dave was out there and didn't give a damn what other people thought. Even though, there was controversy on the choice of words that he and others had used on the show, maybe this time he is a changed person.
Welcome back Dave!
