The announcement came as the former American Idol singer was performing at the opening of the Riverview Apartments in Jacksonville, FL (Why she was there? I have no idea).

You would Fantasia was the only celebrity that got pregnant out of wedlock. They all do it! I really don't understand why the media loves to hate on her. Well yes I do. She does not fit their standard of beauty therefore she is shark bait. Fantasia can take care her child. My tax paying dollars are not going to go towards supporting her. I can't say that for the many of the others that are having babies left and right. I guess it's all good if Mrs. Keys gets pregnant out of wedlock, Nia Long, Jessica Alba, Halle Berry,Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Hudson just to name a few. Why pic on Fantasia?

That's not convey that I think having babies by any of these ladies is okay but it just seems to me Fantasia somehow has become the poster child for unwed moms when SO MANY OTHERS do the same thing. Two wrongs don't make a right but damn give this woman a break!

For REAL! This is nothing new! She is a grown woman. I would not hide my pregnancy either! Having a baby out of wedlock is tough, but it is a woman's choice! And half of the people commenting are not flawless either; it is just that no one CARES about what is going on in our lives. LOL

I don't think it's about her having a baby out of wedlock as much as it's about everyone having witnessed on tv how the relationship between Fantasia and her baby's father started as an affair when he was still married. And then to know that all the drama was the main contributing factor to Fantasia trying to commit suicide, some people are judging her because they think it makes her look stupid to have gone back to him. And now with this baby she's permenately stuck with this man in her life. She can't just get over him.

Jena, the truth is that not every women who has a baby out of wedlock, is a entertainer with money. People exploit single parenting for votes and money. BUT ask yourself of the last presidential candidates have single parent daughers, Sarah, Kristen, and Karenna GORE; Alexandra and Venessa KERRY; Chelsea CLINTON; and do you think that Sasha and Malia OBAMA will do that? hell no, but they will surely take the single mom vote in a heartbeat.

thats her biz and those are her kids leave her alone shes human, shes entitle to make mistakes no ones perfect.no one has the right to down other people when surely they have made some mistakes as well. if she wants to have 10 kids thats her biz me or you dnt have to support them.[ to you fantaisa live your life & dont worry about what the media has to say they jus wanna be you.[your # 1 fan]

Stupid comment. No man is an island. We does not live along. To whom much is given, much is required. Since God is a God of another chance, how many chances will she need before she realizes that her life, although hers to live, is not really hers, but her life belongs to God. As as far other people, she needs to please the one that gave her a break in life only.

I saw photos of fantasia in Barbados very pregnant they will not allow abortions that late & she was ready to deliver. that late in the pregnancy is definately against the law if not murder now she's pregnant again. she will have to answer to GOD as well as the father of the child. i hope she had the child and gave it to someome in the family. when i saw her a few years ago she looked pregnant this is not her 2nd this is her 4th but who's counting

I can say one thing, at LEAST she doesn't have a whole bunch of kids running around. So what if her "man" is separated? That skeleton of a man that Alicia Keys "dated" was separated, and not only was he separated, he left his first wife for his second wife, and his second wife for Alicia...wonder who the third wife will be. Like some one else said on this blog, how come it's ok for those other women to have out of wedlock babies, but not Fantaisha? But it's all good, because she's going to have the last laugh!
