From the Huffington Post:
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, George Lucas conceived of a film about brave fighter pilots. No, not "Star Wars," but the true-life tale of the barrier-shattering World War II squadron, The Tuskegee Airmen.

If you go back and research the actual truth, the whole military was pissed off about the 'Tusks' because they were sent on minimal-risk missions, and they still did in fact lose bombers but they still got so much hype because they were mostly a PR stunt to impress the Negro population. One of them actually crashed into another US bomber, crippling it but not making it crash to the ground, and all of the bomber crews from that mission refused to ever be escorted by the 'Tusks' again. The whole thing was a big pro-black propaganda campaign to get blacks to be accepted more in the military.
They were deployed late and did not get into the fighting until 1943. The toughest days in the air for the Allies were in '42 and early '43. By mid 1944 the Luftwaffe was all but utterly destroyed, her best pilots were gone and the aircraft that remained were in poor condition while US aircraft became progressively much improved beyond that at the start of the war. It reminds me of high school football. Towards the end of the game if the outcome was beyond doubt the coach puts in the younger guys or those that aren't very gifted in athletics, or has the luxury of staging PR stunts.
They lost 25 bombers, lost to ENEMY AIRCRAFT. AND the Tusks were sent into service only after the Luftwaffe had already been defeated, i.e.
only on safe missions. Now, these Negroes sat during various ceremonies where their mythical record of no bombers lost to enemy aircraft was recited by ignorant liberals and SAID NOTHING. Like all Negroes, all show and no substance.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - At least 25 bombers being
escorted by the Tuskegee Airmen over Europe during World War II were
shot down by enemy aircraft, according to a new Air Force report.
The report contradicts the legend that the famed black aviators never
lost a plane to fire from enemy aircraft.
"It's impossible not to lose bombers," said Holton, national historian for Tuskegee Airmen Inc.
The report released Wednesday was based on after-mission reports filed by both the bomber units and Tuskegee fighter groups, as well as missing air crew records and witness testimony, said Daniel
Haulman, a historian at the Air Force Historical Research Agency at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery.
The tally includes only cases where planes were shot down by enemy aircraft, Haulman said. No one disputed the airmen lost some planes to anti-aircraft guns and other fire from the ground.
The 25 planes were shot down on five days: June 9, July 12, July 18 and July 20, 1944 and March 24, 1945, the Montgomery Advertiser reported.
"All of these records have been here all along," Haulman said. "It was just a matter of putting them together."
The surviving members of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first group of black fighter pilots allowed into the U.S. Army Air Corps, received the Congressional Gold Medal on Thursday from President Bush in Washington.
With nearly 1,000 pilots and as many as 19,000 support personnel ranging from mechanics to nurses, the group was credited with
shooting down more than 100 enemy aircraft and — for years — with never losing an American bomber under escort.
Haulman told the Advertiser he had discovered the claim that the Tuskegee Airmen had never lost a bomber they escorted to enemy fire
first appeared on March 24, 1945, in an article in the black newspaper Chicago Defender. The newspaper's headline read "332nd Flies Its 200th Mission Without Loss."
The information was attributed only to "the 15th Air Force, Italy."
"In fact, on the very day the claim was published, more bombers under 332nd Fighter Group escort were shot down," Haulman wrote.

Your thoughts are what they are, your agenda is awash with Jim Crow. If it weren't for people in the know individuals with sentiments like yours would still be a millstone around the uninformed necks. I worked with a Tuskegee Airman, who was also a Brigadeer General with the California National Guard. This man's legacy extended into social justice as the State Chair of CORE-CA, he flew the B-25 Mitchell during WWII. The Tuskegee Airmen Red Tails were the first to shoot down a ME-262, the first jet manufactured by Germany during the war. I once asked him about the remarkable record of the Red Tails. He indicated, because of racism Black pilots were kept out of the war. This policy remained until the attrition of American and German pilots were major problems. While individuals in the command structure like yourself were quibbling with their racial problems the Black pilots had free reign to practice practice practice. So, when they were finally assigned they were the best pilots flying against what Germany could field against day light bombing B-17s. I figure his report is far more reliable than the revisionist tactic you are trying to get off the ground. Unlike the German pilots yours won't get off the ground. At least they died in the air.

Max you got Pwned by James Edward Johnson. He basically said in a nutshell that you cling to the racist ideology that has been put forth to you and if anything challenges it, you attempt to find ways to support it.

And.....max why are you on this site? You don't love, care or like Black people. You shouldn't care what we think or have to say. You're OCD about Black people is going to drive you crazy.
We know our history and not the history that white people make-up about us and we don't need you going to selected sites to contridict who we are and what we have accomplished for this country. GET OVER IT, we're here and we're not going anywhere. The U.S. is just as much OUR (Latinos, Asians, Africans, etc...) COUNTRY as it is yours and any other white person.

Dear Max,
I am James Edward Johnson; I received 3 purple hearts, the third and last one was mortar schrapnel to my left temple, and presently it is referred to as 'traumatic brain injury'; but, injury or no injury; you are a type of Caucasian that I served with during two TET offensives and 2 human waves; your type are those caucasian males who have been lied to all of their lives about anyone who is not Caucasian, and when you encounter the truth, you struggle with it, as those lies came from people who you loved and you thought loved you, so rather than accept these truths; you fabricate ways to support the denial of your 'frame of reference'; it is quite disheartening, but, that is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth; I do not know where you are from, but, you remind me of someone from Texas, as all Caucasians from Texas are the 'scum' of the global community, I have heard this from other Caucasians who are not from Texas...
Emphatically,
Mr. James Edward Johnson
Peaceful Warrior

Max, you are annoying as hell. I wish they bar you from this site and I'm serious because your an online bully and your a racist ass. It seems you find a way to shatter and crush any dreams that anyone could possibly come up with or have, especially Black people. We all get it, you don't like Black people. You might even hate us but there is something so odd about you because you spend a great deal of time knowing too much about Black people to dislike us as you do.
This is just my opinion but I think you watch all Black films and you might even have a few Black friends that you might actually care about. Then you come on here and secretly bash Black people and everything we do and every move we make.
This trailer for this movie looked incredible for many reasons and because of the Tuskegee Airmen or you referred to them as "TUSKS". It's another ploy of yours to knock this historial moment down a few pegs. I was really looking forward to this release and of course, I came and read your comments (the first) and you somehow found a way to shut it down. Think about it Max, it's not 100% accurate because it's a movie and most of fact-based movies have a little window that they can stretch the truth or tell a few untruths for entertainment value. Get over yourself and stop Black-blocking because it's getting pretty tired. Max you might be a nice person but you come on here and really show your ass and your true color. The one thing that you seem to forget whenever your on here, is the incredible blessing it is to be Black. We aren't just the supreme race for nothing.
As a race we are the most forgiving and honest people on the planet. No one can deny how much of an impact Black people have had on society. With that said, Black people have been deny so many of the basic neccesities and still managed to prosper. Don't hate the players, hate the game.
Max, one day when your old (you might be now, who knows and who cares) and when your in that nursing home or you have hospice care and your nurse (LPN) is Black and your only friend in the world, you might want to remember all the horrible things you have done.
